The privacy of the data collected by HOG[SCAN] is an important concern to H.O.G®, the H.O.G. Chapters we serve, their Sponsoring Dealerships, their Members, and visitors to the H.O.G. Chapter websites that HOG[SCAN] provides.

This privacy policy explains the kinds of data HOG[SCAN] collects, and what we do with that data.

HOG[SCAN] will never disclose data to any party, other than as described in this Privacy Policy.

Cookies
Cookies are small files, downloaded to your computer, that contain pieces of data that our srevers can use to recognize a particular web browser, but not an individual person.  We use these cookies to track page views, duration of time on a page, and other website usage behaviors.  Modern browsers are capable of blocking cookies, but this website may not function properly if they are disabled.

Personal Information
Individual H.O.G. Chapters collect voluntary information about their members.  This data is stored and processed by HOG[SCAN] on behalf of those Chapters, for the purpose of providing interactive website content, and membership management functionality.  The information Chapter Members share with their H.O.G. Chapter is voluntary, and you may opt-out of data collection by your H.O.G. Chapter, by contacting your H.O.G. Chapter Officers.

Disclosure of Information
HOG[SCAN] will not disclose personal or aggregate information except as follows. 

  • To the H.O.G. Chapter, and sponsoring dealership to which the H.O.G. Member is a member of.
  • To Harley-Davidson affiliated companies, such as H.O.G., in order to provide products and services, or other opportunities to you.
  • In connection with Harley-Davidson corporate due diligence and audits.
  • To third party service providers in order to provide the functionality of the websites and mobile applications.
  • When disclosure is required by law, such as pursuant to court order, subpoena, legal process or government agency examination or investigation, or to protect or enforce our rights;

Security
We strive to implement the industry best practices for data security, including regular updates, security reviews, and using trusted SSL certificates for website communications. However, no method of transmiting or storing data on the internet is 100% secure, and we can not guarantee absolute security.

By your use of, or connection to our services, websites or mobile applications, you understand and consent to this privacy statement.
